My Outfit: Anchor Shirt: Pink Blush | Capris: c/o Pink Blush Maternity | Shoes: Target
My pregnancy brain is in full swing these days! One morning last week I got Ellie all ready to attend her fun preschool summer camp. Sometimes Ellie is a little hesitant to have me leave her places, so we’ve been talking this up like crazy! She was super excited and ready hours before we had to leave. Literally five minutes before we were about to head out the door, I double checked my email and realized it didn’t even start until the next day! Ah! Since we were all ready for the day anyway, we decided to head to a local park instead. We brought along our favorite summer treat – mmm, watermelon! – and spent the morning looking for potato bugs and exploring the “forest” aka a grove of trees. A morning well spent indeed!
As I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy, I’ve been looking for a few pieces that can transition for postpartum wear. I’ve talked about my love for Pink Blush Maternity, but I’m also loving their non-maternity items as well. I ordered this shirt awhile ago from Pink Blush during a flash sale and adore it. It’s lightweight and loose! It fits over my pregnant belly and will be a perfect, flowing top after baby arrives. And let’s talk about these cropped jeans! I haven’t owned any white pants since having Ellie, something about having a messy toddler + white jeans seemed crazy. After eyeing these for awhile, I finally took the plunge. They’re perfect for summer, chasing a crazy kid around the park, and lo and behold, they’ve actually stayed white!
We’re prepping for a fun-filled weekend ahead – 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays of the year! I’m dreaming of BBQ’s, more watermelon, and fireworks if this pregnant mama can stay up that late. ;) Happy weekend to YOU! xoxo
