I don’t know if it’s because I’m pregnant (probably not), but looking at these photos are making me drool! I’m pretty sure this is
Anyway! During our recent trip to California, we broke out the graham crackers and marshmallows (how could we not!?) and set up a little s’mores bar. This adorable red tray came in handy for transporting all the ingredients to and from the table.
Not only did we include the classics, but we added a few new ingredients as well. They were a huge hit! Here's what you'll need for a similar S'mores bar:
Hershey's Milk Chocolate bars
Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares
Kraft's Jet Puffed Marshmallows
To make your s'more (classic or new!), top one graham cracker with your choice of chocolate. Roast your marshmallow over the campfire until golden brown and gooey then slide off your roaster onto previously placed chocolate. Top with another graham and enjoy!
We had fun inventing new s’mores – Hershey’s chocolate + strawberries (just try it!), cookies’n’creme (one of my favs!), double decker s’mores, the possibilities were endless. And delicious. (P.S. You can find that printable s’mores bar sign here)
Kit Kat s’more on the left and original Hershey chocolate s’more on the left. Both AMAZING.
All ingredients (and that cute red tray) were purchased from Walmart. And yes, listen to that sign – make s’mores tonight!
My favorite combination thus far? The classic Resse’s peanut butter cup. I love anything peanut butter + chocolate. Mmmm. I think it’s time to go camping again (though I should probably wait until this baby arrives!) Luckily, s'mores happen to be such a quick, easy solution for summertime get togethers, BBQs, and parties. Looks like we'll be having a few more of these (and you don't have to have a campfire either, microwave all the way!) What’s your favorite s’more combo?
